Family Fun

We woke up early this morning to say goodbye to our dear friends, Al and Sheree with whom we have shared a wonderful 10 day visit. While the grownups ate, drank and laughed with reckless abandon Cece was busy tackling a few more milestones.

As previously posted she is now pulling herself up to a stand and crawling around with complete confidence. As if that is not enough, purees are already a thing of the past as Cece has discovered finger foods. While Mommy has been trying to take things slowly, Aunt Sheree and Uncle Al encouraged (to say the very least) Cece's progress towards toddlerhood. Me? I just watched and cried a few times.

Hope you enjoy the random shots below of our time with our beloved, extended family!

Daddy and Uncle Al help Cece put one foot in front of the other.

Mommy shines like she's had too much wine and Cece flashes her million dollar smile.

Aunt Sheree plays with Cece during a visit to 15th Ave Coffee and Tea to see Major and Annie.

Still bathing in the small tub!

Aunt Sheree and Cece on the ferry headed to the Olympic Peninsula for another camping adventure.

Daddy has a WTF moment while unpacking for happy hour.

Uncle Al takes a turn with the baby backpack.

Nighty-night kisses at the campfire.

Morning jaunt to the beach to check out the gigantic starfish.

Uncle Al keeps Cece company while Mommy and Daddy are out in the kayak.

Happy family.

Okay, so Katie is officially the last Lamaze Baby to crawl. She's psuedo-crawling, but not the real thing. On the other hand, I could not be happier about her limited mobility given that our house is a veritable death trap right now in the middle of moving.

It looks like you're having a fantastic summer. I have to say I am completely jealous and I miss you and CeCe. I guess I'll see you around their first birthdays! In the meantime, keep us up to date virtually.

What a wonderful vacation. Loved Sheree and Al in the pictures. Looks like they are taking to their aunt and uncle roles well.

Love you all!
